Northside Knit Co was created in a little coffee shop in Anchorage, Alaska in 2013 by sisters Lisa & Amy. We sat near a fire place and mostly focused on what to name our ‘brand’. After some time (and a few years with different names) we settled on Northside Knit Co. It represented where we were both living at the time…way up North.

Since that initial coffee shop meeting, we have continued to create knitting patterns for pieces that we love and fit our style and ethos. Working with your hands is an art that needs preserving. A handmade items holds a different vibration, doesn’t it?
